Hi, I have recently purchased a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev 1.3). Also, I have bought a 2x4GB DDR3 1600 memory to go along with my build. The problem I have is when I put in both of my ram sticks in slot 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, I get a rebooting loop problem and never reach POST. 4 RAM slots - 2 sticks - 100mm CPU Fan - skip a slot? So when they both arrive, if the fan turns out to be on the big side and pokes out infront of the first RAM slot (DDR3_A1), (keeping in mind that the corsair vengeance has quite a high raised heatsink) - will i be able to simply leave the first ddr3 RAM slot empty and plug in the two sticks of RAM either in slot 2 & 3 (DDR3_B1 & DDR3_A2) or 3 ... I'm considering a RAM upgrade to 16GB for my Asus Maximus Hero VI motherboard. It has 4 memory slots for dual channel. My local supplier only has the memory I want in 2x4GB modules. If I purchase 2 kits to make up the 16GB is this less preferable to rather waiting for a 2x8 kit to be ordered.
